Meeting with Parents
The main issue identified was arranging transportation for the children to go to and return from school. To address this, a proposal was made for each parent to contribute a certain amount of money. Everyone agreed to this proposal, and arrangements for a vehicle will be made soon so that the children can attend school regularly.
Overall, today’s meeting was very positive and encouraging.
Women Empowerment
We the human beings worship clay statues of the goddess such as – Maa Durga, Maa Kaali, etc. but in real life, women are getting tortured everywhere and in every situation. We are now living in two thousand century but women are still the neglected beings of our society. There are many localities where women still don’t have the right to educate, where child marriage is a normal thing. Women are not safe anywhere. They can not believe anyone. The ratio of tortured women is increasing day by day. In this crucial time for women, Tejashvini Foundation wants to give them a proper life. We want them to live, educate, be independent, and be powerful. Women should be empowered. Our NGO works for the downtrodden women of our society. We make them independent by helping them to start their own business. They get to
know how to live a proper life. We teach them to make jewelry, paper bags, etc. they are taught tailoring by us. We give them a loan or organize loans from the banks for helping to start their businesses. There are a total of 120 females divided into 3-4 groups for whom we worked. We hope the number will increase. And Tejashvini Foundation can work for more downtrodden women.
Education of Children
In many rural and village areas children are not lightened by education yet. They don’t get proper support from their parents. For living life, they need to work. In this situation, they don’t think education is something important. Tejashvini Foundation gives them free education. We organize classes for 6-14 years old children who are in 1st-9th standard. Teachers take classes every Saturday. Our NGO provides the required equipment. We maintain schools of villages and notice the condition of education system too. Many times it happens that parents don’t allow their children to study because they will stop earning money for now. In that case, our members talk to the parents about letting their children study. This is how we think we can educate our whole society.
Rights of Tribal and Aboriginal
In our country, the tribals and the aboriginals are too much neglected by society. Very few people work for them or think about them. They are not introduced to society well. The tribals and the aboriginals are not aware of the rule of our society as well as the government. They are somehow not linked with us. Our NGO works for the improvement of the tribals and aboriginals people. We aware them about the government’s rule. We help them to make their aadhar card, pan card, voter card, and all other necessary documents. Our NGO members talk to politicians about the tribal and aboriginal if necessary. Tejashvini Foundation wants to create an unbiased society.
Charity during Natural Calamity
When nature decides to punish us no one else can save us. Like from last year we have been suffering from killing diseases named covid-19. In this pandemic, many deaths occurred due to covid, many people get unemployed, many people also died out of hunger. Tejashvini Foundation could not see people are dying because of no food conditions in the society. So our NGO members provide food, cloth, medicines to needy people. We did this daily basis in many localities. Same as at the time of the flood in Maharashtra, We helped people by giving them food and shelter. We looked after everyone’s health and got them proper health checkups if necessary. Tejashvini Foundation will always try its best to help the needy in any crucial situation.
